Mason Jar Salad

Genius!  My sister in law shared this with me and even gave me the jars!  How awesome and so healthy!!

So, this is my lunch today. Yumo!  The dressing is store bought but you could totally use the Spinach and Herb Dip Mix to make a fantastic homemade dressing that is totally low cal and super delish!

Wahoo Chili Addon

So, here in Indy we are waiting on an ice storm to come "Icepocolypse" as some would think. We thought it was a perfect day for some Wahoo Chili. I made a small change to my recipe. I know shocking right?  I added a can of beer to it. Just tasted it and yay!  It is going to be spectacular. I used a Pilsner. You could also use an IPA. Something with a little bitter bite. The sweet ones like Blue Moon may not work as well in it. Try it!  You will like it!  Even if your name isn't Mikey. (Who remembers that?  If you do, you are old like me!)

Valentine Cooking Class

For 2015, I am adding Cooking Classes and Freezer Meal Workshops to my business and passion.  The first one for 2015 will be a special Valentine Cooking Class.  I called it a Mom and Me cooking class with the thought that Moms and kids could come and make a special meal for Dad for Valentines' day, however anyone is welcome to come and make the meal for their sweety, family or even just themselves.  I will be doing these monthly starting in February.

February 7 at 2pm at my home will be the first class.  The menu is easy, yummy and features 4 Tastefully Simple products and recipes.  Registration is $37.00 and the deadline is January 14.
